Frequently Asked Questions

Does everyone get a Visa Extension or Renewal?

The final decision lies at the discretion of the immigration officer, however, as long as you have all the required documents and no history of overstaying in Thailand, there is no reason for you not to be granted a Visa Extension or Renewal.

How much does it cost to extend a Tourist Visa?

It costs 1,900 THB to extend your tourist visa.

Can I still get the extension or renewal after my visa expires?

No, once your visa expires, you will not get the Visa Extension and you will start getting charged fees for overstaying.
