The STV allows foreigners to visit Thailand for up to 90-Days, which makes it perfect for those who want to travel around for a longer time. This visa is for tourism purposes only.

The STV is initially valid for 90 days and can be extended for another 90 days two more times providing a maximum of 270 days of validity. The extension can be done at any Immigration office in Thailand.

The STV is a single-entry visa. If you leave Thailand during this period, the visa will be cancelled. You would be able to re-enter Thailand under a normal tourist visa.

The end date for the application of the Thai STV is 30th September 2022. Make sure you check your local Thai embassy/consulate before you apply in case of regulation changes regarding the STV. We are not sure at this time if the STV Visa will be renewed after September 30, 2022.
